how does Facebook's CPM pricing work? what if i select 0.05 per 1000 impressions? - John Q - 02-28-2013 01:18 AM

i want to place an ad on facebook for my page, and i want to optimize for impressions. how much would i end up paying if i select 0.05 per one thousand impressions if i runt the ad for a month?

thanks

I believe you can still dictate the maximum daily spend, which is a good idea to keep it more predictable.

Low bids tend to get lower impressions and may make your ads appear on less desirable pages. Running the same ad for a month who show a decrease of clicks over time, as more users have previously seen the ad. you can view repeat exposure stats in the control panel, it's generally a good idea to change up your ads regularly, particularly the photo.

It all depends on how many impressions the AD makes on a month. It is unpredictable and totally depends on the AD campaign target settings and competition from other AD's to catch the AD placeholder.

It is also controlled by your total budget for the campaign and daily budget. So you better tune the budget to keep it under a limit.
