Why is youtube so slow and especially choppy? - Amber - 02-28-2013 01:31 AM
Everytime I play a video on youtube it gets very, VERY choppy, and halfway through it starts running slower and slower. I've tried everything to make this stop:
-Cleaned the cache/cookies/everything in my history
-Ran a virus scanner (came up clean)
-Decompressed my harddrive
-Reduced the video quality of the videos to 240p
-I'm on a laptop but right next to the modem and it still does this
There are also no extensions running in my background and I have very few things open (right now its just youtube and facebook)
I'm also certain that all of my adobe players are up to date.
Any explanations? can anyone please help? This is SUPER annoying!

First off check to see what else is on that uses internet. (off and on your computer, not youtube of course though). run a speed test and see just how fast your internet is.
Wireless uses Bandwidth and the more things you have running then the more stretched out your internet connection will become
