I have a band and we are getting a few songs together. We have all the kit like PA's, instruments and Mics. We wanna get our name out and start getting to play for people. What should we do to make us a good act and get ourselves playing to people. We are all teenagers. Cheers

Good way to start is on the internet. Social media plays big role in todays society, everyone is on it. Record yourselfs playing live or in the studio. Create a youtube account, make a soundcloud, make a facebook page. if your not much of an internet person, you need to go look out for people, people wont look for you. unless an agent happens to want EXACTLY what you guys have to offer. Just go out to places where you guys can jam, post bullitens around the town for gigs you guys should play.

I'm in a band teenagers all 16 and we found out its all about getting your first gig and bringing people down to the pub when you play as this shows the owner people are buying more drinks on the night u play so promote gigs loads and advertise practice at home then play together and band practice cause u don't want to waste time learning songs together u want to play them together and last the front man has to have the gift of the gab to get audiences going ask audience are they having a good time etc u can prepare before playing so you know what to say if band are getting ready for next song and there is awkward silence and last tip is practice stage presence like jumping or moving at band practice and give each other feedback on what looks good and ps dress good hope this helps

Play parties and open for other bands for free to get experience and get your name out there. yOu need a logo or artwork. make it cool and funny so people will want to wear it and sell T-shirts then get your songs on a myspace page and keep going from there.
