The question above says it all.
The college I go to doesn't offer any particular "New/Social Media Degree", so I was wondering what the best degree to aim for would be.

Consider a double major in communications and computer science.

Communications or Sociology doubled with CS. Then you need to do a PhD, because lets face it, nobody would take you seriously if you got into that "field" without really becoming an esteemed expert.
