Virus on facebook,is my computer in danger? - Bartel - 02-28-2013 04:46 AM

Just got a link from a friend,i clicked on it,and it downloaded a file and ran it,fortunately kaspersky was able to block it,otherwise it would have sent it to everyone in chat...So,kaspersky said it couldnt delete it and that it was advisable that i reboot my computer...So i did,and now i looked up the report kaspersky gave me,it was a trojan, and apparently its now fixed...I ran a quick scan,it ended up clean, now im currently running a scan on malwarebytes anti-malware , just to be safe. But i cant help but feel unsafe,i dont know if its just me or is my computer a bit slower than usual.Could my computer and personal info still be in danger or am i just being paranoid?
Status on the trojan:Inactive,rolled back

If Kaspersky said it removed then its fixed. They are one of the best anti virus software out there. Companies like Norton and Trend Micro are built of off Kaspersky code.
