This laptop seems to close the wireless connction or so my provider tells me.
How can I check just to see if it's on or off

Hello Michael,
I am from Dell Social Media and Community.
On the Inspiron M5030, use the F2 key to turn wireless On or Off. Use Windows Mobility Center in the control panel to check the status of the wireless connection.
