If you know that your Twitter account was hacked? - Kimberly - 02-28-2013 05:48 AM what should I do? I use my real name, and everything is out in the open, so what can somebody do? Should I change my password? Is that really going to help at this point? They hacked it this afternoon, but I didn't really know that it was a hacker at the time. I did log in to a site after clicking on a link, so I think I was hacked. - Ben - 02-28-2013 05:57 AM Use a different computer to access the twitter account, log in, and change your password. That should protect you until you can confirm what ever virus/trojan is on your computer has been dealt with. Alternatively, use a live boot CD (such as the many linux distros) and use that to access your twitter. |
