Usually because they are miserable and want other people to be the same. People who do things like that typically have a depressing life and they hate the world and feel like nothing will change, they often times blame society for the way they are because something happened to them a long time ago for instance most will try to use the excuse "Well when I was 7 years old some kid beat me up everyday" obviously a poor excuse and a real way of showing they can't let things go. Their logic is altered and very ignorant when they do things like that.

long time ago people used to suicide when they are depressed...now the media; CSI, thrillers films...all show the same thing...to kill a group before killing oneself...our young generation is brainwashed into this....Sadly, US legislators deny that the prophets of violence media are less than social casualty..putting aside the ethical factor which almost no longer exist....add our bad influence on the world, something which US never felt guilty about....some Asian states that have filtering committee that reduces the amount of explicit content released to the public...but with the attack of freedom of knowledge rights groups(financed by hollywood generous donations), this is corroding worldwide....children in the 3rd world kill their brother or father in a small argument only because they see killing is so smooth on the screen and in video games....Violent video game and movie producers should be jailed as criminals.

Lots of people kill themselves. Unfortunately, you have to take a few with you in order for it to make the (international) headlines
