yesterday it said norton expired. today youtube doesnt work. the youtube page pops up for a second, then disapears and goes white. i clicked on a youtube link from twitter,and same thing happened. i tried refreshing too. What could be the cause of this? its never happened before

If you are running with expired Norton you have probably infected the machine with spyware.

I'm not too sure on the cause of this, but I assure you its not because of Norton expiring.

I've been fixing computers for a few years now and I can confirm when programs like Norton and MacAfee expire or are not activated then can start blocking some Internet access. The only way to be sure if this is your problem is to uninstall Norton and reinstall another anti virus program.
My choice is Avira - http://www.avira.com/en/avira-free-antivirus
or just do an internet search for others. Otherwise try clearing out your temp internet files - http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache
Sometimes that helps.
