Yes, I get heaps of notifications all the time. Though, you get notified when you are tagged if you are trying to hide it from somebody. But I think you can change the settings so they don't receive notifications of when somebody likes it.

Ya, It will simply say: "So an so" liked a photo you were tagged in.
