Can't delete apps on Samsung Galaxy Y? - Sian - 02-28-2013 07:18 AM
I got a Samsung Galaxy Y for Christmas and when I decided to delete my Facebook account I wanted the Facebook app off my phone but every time I remove it and go back into the app area it's still there even when I restart my phone.
Help!?

I gave this advice a second ago; go to the Samsung Support page (below), click the "Chat" link near the Cell Phone picture on the right center of the page. Chatting with them may answer your question, I think they are open 24/7.

u mean delete it from homescreen? of course it'll remain on so drawer unless u uninstall it. go to setting, application, manage application, search for Facebook app, click on it, choose uninstall. it'll be removed for good unless it comes as a preinstall app(i doubt it. there are only Samsung apps as come as preinstalled beside default Android apps) u can't uninstall it unless ur phone's rooted.
