I think its a great anti virus. and they have a very helpful community on facebook.
Avast is good too
load of bs been said on here about avg. its trusted by millions who dont have any problems with it. and ive used it and done additional scans with mbam etc and avg lets no malware in

80% of the infected computers I clean in my store are running AVG.It sucks so I love it!

I do not use free av's like that as they do not protect you anywhere near enough!

We check files are safe before you click - Only with the paid version so you can download a virus and be infected before you get around to a manual scan..............8-((
When using any anti-virus package you need to make sure it contains a firewall and that it scan everything as you surf as it is to late once you have gotten a virus to complain about it and that it includes at least daily anti-virus signatures.
Remember an out of date signature list will allow new virus's through!!!!!
I strongly advise you to check the site below and see what is not covered in the free edition, there are better free editions out there.

Mediocre antivirus, I can think of at least half a dozen antivirus better that AVG

I have AVGfree2013 installed on 10 computers. There of those
computers are used in offices. I like it.

@ computer technician who in there right mind would let you put avg free on 10 computers in there office they must be desperate your a joke
