What sites can you use to advertise things your selling on ebay for free? - Y - 02-28-2013 08:23 AM

Obvious things like facebook and myspace, making bulletins to tell your friends, same with facebook. But are there any sites where it won't count as spam to say things like: Anyone interested in buying a topshop dress? etc etc..

You can place a classified ad for free on Kijiji.com for the things you are selling.

There are some free classified ad sites, for example Gumtree, Kijiji, Craigslist. I'd read the site's terms and conditions beforehand though, as I'm not sure what they'd say in relation to using their website to direct people to ebay. If you're a business seller I have a feeling they wouldn't like it. However I have seen ads from individuals selling cars on ebay, and putting an ad for it on Gumtree too. If you are a business seller, try Squidoo and make a 'lens'.

You could try Go Zippin! This is a free classifieds site. http://www.gozippin.com

Try The Exclaim. It's free to list and to sell. You'll also get a link to your ebay seller profile if you opt to include your ebay feedback with your ads. Even though The Exclaim is very new (just launched last month), you can already get a lot of exposure for items you're e-selling there because they also get listed on Google Product Search and The Find. Of course, how much interest you'll get depends on how much demand there is for the stuff you're selling, but it's a great supplement, potential alternative even, to ebay. http://www.theexclaim.com
