How to get virus out of computer? - Austin T. - 02-28-2013 08:31 AM Well there are a lot of advertisements along big websites like facebook, yahoo, and youtube. Those advertisements seem know the area I live in, and it's either: a dating website or a video chat or a computer fix thing. How do I fix this? Is this a virus? - ez80227 - 02-28-2013 08:32 AM not nec a virus. this comes from sites you use which have your info, more often. look up 'cookies' on google. - amadosnz - 02-28-2013 08:39 AM download a free anti virus of your choice and scan your entire hard drive. I personally use Microsoft Security Essentials. It has helped me and my friends. - OceanPhoenix - 02-28-2013 08:46 AM No, I don't think it's a virus. I get those too, but once it starts going on porn websites every time you click on the internet, you know you've got a virus. (That has happened.) You might want to take it to best buy or a local computer shop to check if you are worried. They can clean the hard drive if necessary. - LOLWORKED - 02-28-2013 08:47 AM It really isn't hard to track an IP these days. A script just takes your IP and finds where you live based on it, nothing more to it. - Casca Longinus - 02-28-2013 08:57 AM Install adblock, and pop up blocking add-on into your browser.
