Okaay . I've seen in so many twitter and tumblr profiles the word "hype" . (ex . F**k Hype and this is hype . ) what dies it mean ?

it means like somthing was played up to much, like that movie got hyped up to much means that it was played up a lot.

It means everyone's getting excited over nothing.
