I did link my Facebook to my avatar which is an option yahoo offers. It worked for my Christmas avatar but now it won't work for my changed picture. It hasn't shown up at all since I changed it.
My avatar from the summer shows up on this page. None of the avatars I've done show up on my Instant Messenger or my Facebook account.

For yahoo messenger IM try this.Right click on your avatar in the messenger window and follow the prompts to choose an avatar or upload a photo from your pc
