Is accessing the internet on verizon phones free? - Matt A - 02-28-2013 11:28 AM

I recently got an older phone and was looking around and eventually found a way onto facebook mobile. I don't know if it costs money to be on there so i figured i'd check here first and if it did cost, i'd stop.

so if you know or know where i can go to find this info it'd be appreciated

If you get a certain plan it is.
But if you dont it costs 1.99 per day.

its is not free to use internet or data apps on your verizon phone....

hers some information that you will find if you read the find print in their contracts, etc (i like how they hide it.. lol).....

Mobile Web:
Billing for Data Sent or Received. Mobile Web is included in all Nationwide Calling Plans. Megabyte charges apply to Basic and Select Plans. Unless you subscribe to the V Cast VPak, V CAST Mobile TV Select or Premium Calling Plans, megabytes sent or received using Mobile Web (including advertising) will be aggregated each month, rounded up to the next megabyte, and billed at $1.99/MB.

Rates are rounded to the nearest whole megabyte. One megabyte is equal to 1024 kilobytes. Application charges apply in addition to charges for data sent/received.

GOOD LUCK!!

Depends on what calling plan ure on. If you're on the older plan Americas Choice there is no charge. If youre on our newer plan Nationwide and you dont have a data plan it is 1.99/mb which can add up so vcast pak of 15dollars/month is highly recommended.
