Social media dilemma, what are your thoughts? - NO LONGER USING THIS ACCOUNT! - 10-12-2012 08:03 AM

I just recently deleted my Facebook account and have found my life to be so much less stressful! My question is for those of you who have done the same. I wish I could keep up with acquaintances who I don't talk to on a daily basis but like to see how their life is going (ex, wedding photos, new pregnancies, etc.) I am just wondering if you think the benefit of removing Facebook from my life outweighs the little things I am missing. I should explain that I have also had problems with people adding me just to look at my profile and then deleting me before I could figure out who they were. That is one of the reasons I deleted it. You never know who is real and who is just a creepy lurker! Any thoughts about Facebook and deletion? Please no rude comments.

the problem isn't with facebook it is how people use facebook. Too many people let it rule their lives. They act like they would die if they can't update their status. There is nothing wrong with having a facebook as long as you don't let it take over. I have one that i rarely use and i am fine with that.
