I was wondering because I know it can make good videos but I was wondering if you take pictures with it that it would come out in good quality. Like to post on Facebook, Instagram etc..

Camcorders typically don't take good still shots, since their sensors and processors are optimized for video.
Still, it's probably good enough for Facebook:

Get another camera if you want to take good pictures

Go Pro's are beautiful toys, and a LOT of fun to play with.
However, they are NOT for serious photography.
On the other hand, very few people on Facebook or Instagram give a hoot about quality, so for those applications, even a GoPro would be good enough.
