Girlfriend said she had been flirting in a facebook post. Should I be concerned? - Manning - 02-28-2013 12:31 PM

My girlfriend tried breaking up with me a few weeks ago, where she changed her facebook status to single and told me she just needed to be alone. 4 days later we eventually spoke again and made up and agreed to keep our relationship and we went out a few days later. However ever since we got back together she still has her status left on single (which isn't a big deal to me), but today she just made a post saying she had been "caking" (flirting) and I know it hasn't been with me because we haven't spoken in about a week because her phone was turned off. Should I be worried about this or am I overreacting?

I thought caking meant getting money. Anyways, if she's been distant that means she's either busy or doing something she has no business doing. Plus her status on FB is still 'single' so she's giving other people the impression that she's available which is disrespectful. If I were you, I'd leave that chick, she sounds like bad news. You shouldn't have to wonder what she's up to all the time. She's gonna do what she wants and doesn't care what you think.

It sounds like she wants your attention. Why would she make that post visible to you if she was really doing something that she didn't want you to know about? I think she is still holding resentment over the break-up. You need to talk to her about this.
