Are my GCSE results good enough to get me into college? - Emily - 10-12-2012 08:04 AM im really worried that they arent good enough! i got A* in business studies A in maths B in english lit and language, in chemestry, biology and physics, drama C in spanish, RE, media and health and social! So i havent failed anything i just dont think i've did well - cathrl69 - 10-12-2012 08:12 AM Most colleges will take people whio have 5 GCSEs at grade C and above. If the one you planned to doesn't, just look around a bit more. - Expertchin923 - 10-12-2012 08:12 AM Well done! Your results are really good and you will have loads of options open to you with those grades. You only need 5 A* - C grades to get in to college and your results are way beyond that! For most colleges you will need at least a C or a B in each subject that you want to take for A level. That means that there will be people starting your courses in September who will have got Cs so you will have a good head start. Many people would die (well not quite!) to be in the same position as you! Did you know that the average GCSE grade is a C and you did way better than that in all of your subjects! You also got amazing grades in Maths and English which are the important subjects. I don't know what your predicted grades were but if I were you I would be extremely pleased with myself! Hope this helps Good luck! - Michael - 10-12-2012 08:12 AM You've done well, better than most anyway. You have got good results in the 'important' subjects so it's all good. No need to worry, i got my results yesterday as well |
