Get to Know The person that you are Talking to Find Out What Both of you Like and Talk About that Usually When you Both Like Something the Conversation Will Never End

Ask them a quirky and interesting question, then, if they answer with something like "lol i don't know" then come up with an interesting answer to the question. Mabye tell them a cheesy joke. Ask about their lives. Talk about movies/songs/tv shows that you like. Be yourself Smile

lol, my conversations used to be like that. I just pretend to be offline until i actually have something to talk about.Just think of something that both of you can relate to and talk to them about it. That should work and the convo should last a lot longer. But if there's nothing to say, pretend to be offline otherwise it would be awkward

Ask open-ended questions instead of questions that can be answered with one word.
