As the question says only because apps such as Facebook we don't want on daughters iPod but if I delete it it wipes off both devices hope someone can help :0))
Everything on icloud is off unless done something wrong lol x

turn off iCloud on your iPod!

Stop having them connected via iCloud, if you're on iOS 5.0.1. Change your iCloud Settings.
Otherwise, when you sync with iTunes, sync only apps you want.
