So apparently now in order to use webcam,, you 'need to have at least 6 conversations lasting 10 minutes or longer..'
Well that's a crock. Is there any way to bypass this?

Nope, there's no way to bypass it. It sucks.
But as long as you're patient, you can meet the 10 minute minimum pretty quickly. If you're not having luck though, you could just go on Random Rounds (http://apps.facebook.com/chatrounds/conv/?publisherid=elena&campaignid=YA&bannerid=0 ) – that's what I do when I run out of luck on Chatroulette.
