Everyone on my friends list I know in real life (except some of my friends' parents) but recently on Yahoo Answers I met this dude Niko and of he has Facebook I was going to add him, but my parents (who have Facebook) might ask about it then make me delete him because he's "some guy I met on the Internet".

your parents would be right to be concerned - for all you know this Niko guy isnt who he claims to be - there's no way to be sure on the internet
you dont have to add him as a friend to talk to him - maybe you should talk to him over email instead of adding him as a friend on facebook
