P.S. are there any good deals for either of them on Black Friday?

iPod Nano is only for music.
iPod Touch is for music, games, movies, internet etc. (A small iPad)
iPad is a larger iPod touch that can multitask more, hold more data and in a nutshell, is a larger iPod touch.
You can go on Facebook on anything with the Internet. In your case, an iPad or iPod Touch only. Not the iPod nano.

Primarily it is the size that is different.
Yes, they use the same iOS, so they can use the same apps. However iPhone apps are sized iPhone sized, so they appear small, or if you decide to enlarge it, blurry. Mostly though there are iPad versions of the apps you want.
iPad currently does not have Siri (the iPhone 4S came after the iPad2)
And yes, you can message on facebook with both iPad and iPhone

Ipod are small and just good to listen to music really. Ipad is the real deal. Its more like a nice touch screen computer. I didnt know but my buddy used to always prank me with his ipad lol he calls me and prank me. I didnt even know ipad can call someone. but i guess that pretty cool too huh?
