My email is telling contacts that my computer has a high risk virus? - trishs8189 - 02-28-2013 03:28 PM My uncle sent me a message on my Facebook page saying that my email is saying that my computer has a very high risk virus. Is this possible. I sent my mom an email & she said she didn't see anything like that- has anyone had anything like this happen. What should I do? A scan of my computer by AVG said there were no threats. Any suggestions?? - Matthew A - 02-28-2013 03:36 PM Possibly you do or someone might have hacked your email. Change the password on your email and ask your uncle again after a while of doing this. In the mean time you might have a virus so backup important files and try to keep your pc from stressful tasks until the problem with your email stops. Also try using your email on a public computer and see if that does it.
