I love him so much & I'm so scared that he'll lose his life out there. Every time he brings the topic up I want to cry. I know its his dream though, I dont want to get in the way of his dreams. I just want someone to give me some advice saying somewhere along the lines that it gets better & he'll be okay

1 in 37 marines get minor injuries, 1 in 58 get major injuries (nothing life threatening, though.) and 1 in around 80 marines die. You've got nothing to worry about, communicate with him when he's gone via mail, Social Media (Skype, MSN, Facebook) or anything else. Don't worry, he'll be fine.

Hey mam all u can do is let him go and pry to god that comes home my whole has been over sees and I'm 16 I know how u feel some of them didn't come back I know it's hard to think about but if he does come home he died so u can live in the land of the free and the home of the brave
