Where I work facebook is blocked, is there other ways around this block?

Download a proxy at home onto a flashdrive and plug that in at work.

Bypassing your employer's web blocks is legally regarded as tampering - a criminal misdemeanor. Your employer would be entitled to have you arrested, but would most likely simply fire you

Tell your boss he's an idiot for blocking facebook, and he should feel bad and let you go on it instead of working.

With as many people that are out of work right now i am sure there is someone out there that would love to have your job that wouldn't try to go against company policy just to get on stupid facebook when you should be working. Don't mean to be insulting here but with today's economy it's kinda dumb for one to put his/her job in jeopardy just so that person can get on facebook. Maybe you should think this through a little bit more?

As per as considered please don't try using proxies if you are at office or college because using proxy is simple but its consequences are very bad many times it may activate spyware, adware, malwares (worms), trojan virus on you pc which spreads on you pc and bypasses through network and causes problem to server. Im working as Hardware server Engg in MNC. We face such problem millions of time and we keep on update colleagues through emails please dont use proxies.
So, i would request you please don't try Proxies in offices or colleges. Rest is all your choice..
