Hi, I made a twitter account today and my first follower was a ... porn star? Not sure but their tweets are really inappropriate. I use my twitter for my blog and I have a younger audience. How can I get this person to stop following me? Thanks.

Block them. I had a similar experience. Click on their name so you are sent to their page. Next to the "Follow @..." button is a small button with a downward pointing arrow. Click the arrow to drop down the bar and click "Block @...". Where the "Follow @..." button was, it should now say blocked. They may still show up on your followed list for a bit, but after you sign out and back in a few times, they will disappear.

Twitter attaches them to people all the time.
They want you to think people like you so you'll keep using their crappy service.
I get them all the time.
Try to contact the porn star.
s/he won't respond.
They're not real.
