On my smart phone I had a notification that someone had sent me a friends request, however when i went onto Facebook there is nothing there??

It means that they cancelled their request to be your friend!

Probably whoever sent you that request cancelled it... maybe because you didn't accepted it shortly.

He may have accidently sent you request, then he immediately undo it.

If its Not there Anymore that Means At the Very Last Second they Canceled the Friend Request
