Does Facebook hide my messages from me? - C - 02-28-2013 05:53 PM
I made a second Facebook for personal reasons and tried messaging myself but the message didn't go through. This was tested a few times, none of the messages went through. It's as if that new account can't send messages to anybody on facebook. What's the deal?

if the second account isnt on your friends list, the messages show up in the "other messages" folder, and there is no notification sent to the user
facebook does this to prevent spam, and to prevent people from contacting people they dont actually know in real life
btw - it's also against the rules to create more than one account, so dont be surprised if facebook eventually forces you to verify your accounts with separate cell phone numbers
