I often use Omegle.com and recently when trying to connect to someone, BAM, the word "Banned" pops up and it redirects me to a porn site. OK, this is unnecessary, I have not been doing anything wrong on Omegle, and why did it direct me to a porn site? I've contacted Omegle about it but received no response. Is Omegle pulling a joke on me or should I be doing something about this? Thanks.
I don't use video chat, only TEXT chat. I never show myself on camera, I should have emphasized that. I'm still banned, however.

If you was banned from Omegle of all sites then yes you was doing something wrong! Its nothing but creeps and hornys on it. Which one are you?

I got some advice. Get the f*ck off omegle unless you're looking for 1 of 2 things. Either male penises ejaculating. Or naked male men. Omegle is creepy and pointless. Don't go on it. BUT, if you insist go on the website and head into through there, it changes your ip and let's you go to the website. Hidemyass.com

We-ell, it's not just you. Omegle has been cracking down on "inappropriate activity" lately. I got banned and I had absolutely NO reason to be banned! So clearly they have been having some kinks in their new filter system. Just go on Rounds for now (http://apps.facebook.com/chatrounds/conv/?publisherid=elena&campaignid=YA&bannerid=0 ) and eventually your ISP will roll you over to a new IP address and you'll no longer be banned.
(However, at that rate it's possible by that time Omegle might not even exist, haha!)
