Is it true that people who post happy family photos on Facebook aren't as happy as they appear? - Rachael - 02-28-2013 07:47 PM

I see people (mostly women) post Christmas photos of themselves and their families. The photos were usually taken in a park or some outdoor place. The photos are full of smiling people and they get many likes and comments on Facebook.

Do you think they're truly that happy? I look at old photos of myself smiling. I appeared to be so optimistic, but I wasn't actually that happy when those photos were taken.

Yes. Everyone who posts happy pictures of themselves are really emo kids hiding in their closets cutting themselves.

I don't know. I don't have a FB anymore.

A lot of people fake/hide away their emotions behind photos.

it can be true but then again it wouldn't date. it's just the same as if someone were smiling everyday but had a really pitiful life

I try not to over-think it.

That's true of everyone.

Life is terrible.

I think you're paranoid. Stop worrying about other people.
