How do i set my Facebook friend private on the new profiles? - Tila - 02-28-2013 07:56 PM

Okay, so i deactivated my last Facebook account and made a new one because the other one had a virus. When i signed up, it automatically gave me the new profile. Although I don't like it, i don't mind it. But the problem is, my friends aren't private. I tried the basic way, where you just click the pen next to the word Friends. That didn't work -___- Anyone know how to set friends private? OR if you can tell me how to go back to the OLD profile that'll be amazing!

look under privacy settings and you should be able to adjust what goes on your profile

Seen as I have the old profile and haven't experienced the new one I will try this...

http://www.facebook.com/#!/settings/?tab=privacy§ion=basic&h=5321fab4d1afadb748388c0bd25f1210

And then 'See your friend list' - click the option that you want.

(I hope that works for you!)

1. Log in to Facebook.

2. Click "Account", and then "Privacy Settings" on the dropdown menu.

3. Click "View Settings" under the "Connecting on Facebook" section.

4. Scroll 'til you see "See your friends list", and select "Customize" from the dropdown to the right.

5. Under the "Make this visible to" section, select "Only Me" from the dropdown.

6. Save the settings, and you should be good to go!
