I try signing in, but when I do all these letters appear upon one page. Is it a virus?

Lol try logging into facebook useing a browser called Internet Explorer don't login using Firefox because before Firefox you have to get addons in order to use Facebook and if you don't have those that is all you will get.

yes, it's wiggy yfor me this morning - I use firefox, not sure if that matters.

I don't believe it is a virus. A lot of people, no matter what browser, have been experiencing "glitches."
I have been experiencing a lot of them myself, so I recommend you close the browser you are using (make sure to save anything if you have other tabs open) and open up the browser again. Load Facebook and see if that resolved the matter.
It may be do the the constant updating and bugs that the website deals with and may have nothing to do with your computer specifically.
