I think that if you sang half of the song in it's proper key and not an off-key, I think is what that is, it would make it more balanced by making it sound less sardonic (like "been there, done that") and as negative. Some people, kids, that haven't been on a date won't like the non-excitement of the tone. Other than that, you have a terrific voice, and the recording and instrumentation is excellent.
