older macbook around 2005 or so i have used a cd cleaner and i still cant get drive to accept disc. spits it out after a minute or so, what im tring to do is copy desk top to blank cd so i can up grade to snow leopard, im running leopard now. after it spits it out i get the famous little pin wheel that wont stop, have to restart, i have tried restarting holding down apple alt p and r still nothing in my about this mac it says it will read and write cd's. what now??? i have brand new hard drive but running on external because of this issue.
