Question about Facebook security settings? - Lucy - 03-01-2013 04:11 AM

If you set your settings on Facebook to notify you when someone else attempts to log on to your account from an unknown device will it also notify you if somebody attempts to login? If they were to guess at your password several times but not gain access could you be notified of this? Or will the owner of the account never find out if you try but don't get in?

Those are all attempts to log in from an unknown device (unless someone else manages to use a device you have used in an attempt to log on), so the answer is yes.
