What are some productive ways of getting exposure for your music other than soundclick and myspace? - Mike S - 03-01-2013 08:56 AM

I'm using soundclick right now since myspace doesn't support more than six songs or however many. But then again, more people use myspace to listent to new music? I don't know what other sites would get useful exposure.

imeem.com is exactly the site you're looking for, in some ways it's like youtube but you can upload mp3's, there's no limit to the amount you can upload and anyone can listen. It also gives you a nice player that lets people incorporate your tunes into their playlists or feature them on their profiles.
If your an artist it has one very special feature, you can register your music with snocap, and then imeem will share 50% of the ad-revenue your music generates with you. That's a a whole 50% more than myspace ever offers to artists.

According to quantcast.com imeem is now the largest social music site in the world with over 25million unique users per month and over a 100 million unique users visiting their network.
