I just made a instagram... i followed like 30 people... when they follow me back , do i follow them again? Im so confused on the "following" concept.. is it like "poking" on facebook kind of? Help me out... whats following exactly!?!!

When you "follow" someone on instagram, it means you are able to see their pictures when you're on your home page. If they follow you, your pictures will be seen by them.

Following is kinda like subscribing to their profile it helps you keep up with their recent photos

Its not like poking. When you follow someone, the photos they upload will be in your notification so you see their new pictures. so when they follow you back they will get a notification that you just uploaded a new picture and they can look at it if you like.
