I want to open an account in any brokerage company, but I don't have a social security number, I only have an ITIN (individual Taxpayer Identification Number)is it possible to open an account with an ITIN number only ? and if it is possible that companies would you recommend me.

That is all you need. What do you mean, what companies? You mean companies worth investing in? Well, prices are becoming very much more competitive currently. You should open an account asap. Scottrade is one to consider. As for companies to invest in, I am probably a little too conservative for your tastes. I have been buying INTC, GE.
