I fell in love with a guy about a year and a half ago. Long story short, it became an abusive relationship, and I ended up with a sprained wrist and multiple bruises and scratches. He seemed like my knight in shining armor, when he turned out to be the opposite. We stopped talking for a while, and then he showed up in my life again, asking for my forgiveness and me back. He promised me he would never do that to me again, and he regrets it all. I didn't bat an eye when I turned him down, but now he keeps bringing up our relationship and all this stuff about it. I recently found out he has locked texts and pictures of them because he doesn’t want to forget. He keeps bringing up times when we were together, and it's just like a nonstop guilt trip. I do still care about him, but I’m more concerned about not possibly ending up in the hospital. Any help?

You continue to stay away from him as much as possible, don't even think about getting back together. He had his shot and his true colors came out, he is abusive and that won't change. He would be sweet for a while but eventually he would continue to hurt you. Stay away from him as much as possible, don't answer his calls or texts, block his number if possible, and erase him from all social media websites. You deserve much better than that and you can do better.
