How do I make an avatar? - Sam - 03-02-2013 10:38 AM

It's my first time on answers, I'm seeing all kinds of different avatars. How do I change the yahoo sign using a mobile phone?

Go to http://answers.yahoo.com/my-activity/edit/about

Then click on Update Photo, you can easily upload pic to your profile from there. Also you can see already uploaded pics there to select.

For customised avatars,

Go to http://avatars.yahoo.com

Hope it helps Smile

You can use a photo or a Yahoo! cartoon avatar, and if you have a Facebook or Twitter account, you can also use those avatars.

Go to: http://profile.yahoo.com/y/settings/privacy/ - make sure your profile isn't hidden, because if it is, your avatar won't show.

If you want a cartoon avatar, go here to create one: http://avatars.yahoo.com/ - then click on "Yahoo!" under "Export your Avatar".

In case you want to use a Facebook or Twitter avatar, you need to link those accounts in the Profile options.

You have several options in case you want a photo avatar:
a) go to your Yahoo! Answers settings at http://answers.yahoo.com/my-activity/edit/about , click "Update photo or avatar",
b) go to your Yahoo! Profile at http://profile.yahoo.com/ , click on the current avatar.
Now upload a picture or choose one of the pics you've uploaded previously.

Note: you need to use a desktop computer in order to change your avatar, you can't do it with a mobile.

For a pic or avatar.See the yahoo help here.http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/pulse/p… look under public photo and follow the instructions and job done. Make an avatar at http://avatars.yahoo.com Make sure your profile is not set to private as that stops it from appearing,
