advertising can be a pain in the neck the way I've got around it is I use firefox web browser with an ad on installed called ad block (it's great) it stops most adverts dead and speeds up browsing you can get it here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/
if you use a mac or safari on windows there's an ad block for that too
Additional: yes there is one for google chrome here's the link https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/adblock-plus/cfhdojbkjhnklbpkdaibdccddilifddb?hl=en-GB have fun not watching those annoying adverts
