you cannot. only videos, or jpeg/png
you could just post the link though

you cannot make it animate on facebook, you can only post the link to it and people would have to click it to see it move

Unfortunately the .gif format isn't supported by Facebook.
Until Facebook gets up to date with the modern world then you can only upload still images such as .jpg or .png files.
