I want to set up a free, easy and non advertisement heavy website...? - Rosie - 03-03-2013 10:42 AM

I would like to use it to advertise for my availability as a tutor, so I dont need anything hard core, but I need something that won't litter my page with mandatory advertismets and would be easy for me to figure out all the html and stuff to set it up. Besides facebook, myspace, and livejournal, is there anything someone can recommend to me? Thanks in advance!

Recommend that you use Microsoft Office Live Small Business - http://starturl.com/olfree . It is a free service for creating and hosting your professional business website. Right now, MS is offering a free domain name for the first year (e.g. yourtutoringhours.com). It also has a great online website builder that allows you to create webpages without coding. There is no ads on office live and it includes a great contact manager to help you manage your tutoring business.
