Is it possible to get a virus by accepting a friend request on Facebook? and if so, if some one has got the virus, what are the effects?

It is possible to get a virus form just about anything, it would surprise you...

anything involving virus is unpredictable but can happen
the effects would probably glitches and really slow page loads.
