Is there a way for me to temporarily deactivate my Facebook account but still use it when it's deactivated? - Zuno - 03-26-2013 09:12 AM

Meaning... I want to use my Facebook, but I also don't want any of my friends to see my profile when they search for my name.

I want to still use it when it is deactivated
Is this possible?

No. Stupid question really.

Yes, it is.

When it's deactivated, no one can see your profile.

If you log in with the email that is linked to your account, it is activated again. If you want to hide your profile information so that your information is available only when you are online, you can deactivate it again.

You can deactivate it then reactivate it if u want to use it again... Using it while it's deactivated ruins the entire purpose honestly..

You can't use it while it's deactivated, but you could reactivate it, use it and then deactivate it again.
