The guy who has been ignoring my text has finally texted me back? - Angie - 03-26-2013 05:45 PM

Okay theres this friend I have that I began to like and he liked me so he took me out last Saturday. He's basically the typical douche. He's a player from what I've heard and SEEN (he has a new hickey every week) and showed up to our date with a hickey. (check my other question for details on that) and blamed the hickey on a random girl at a party he went to the night prior. I let it go only because he was a gentleman the rest of the night. We held hands and kissed and he said he ad a nice time and so did I so I thought maybe we were getting somewhere. Anyways, we were texting yesterday for a little after he apologized and out of no where he stopped replying. I thought he was busy but I saw he was posting statuses and pictures on facebook. He didn't even tell me happy new year at 12. But a few minutes ago, he texted me happy new years. NOW he texts me. Im debating whether to answer it because he drove me crazy with anxiety when he ddnt reply to me and now I want to switch the tables around. Or should I just say happy new years back? But then, if he doesn't reply back to my text again, I'll feel like an idiot and regret it. Help???

Don't text him for a while

Haha u feel the same way I do when a guy doesnt reply back. I always reply when they do that and then they don't reply back again. U should not reply for like a week and then pop back up out of the blue.. just cause that's what guys do to girls all the time.

He is using u for a back up just in case others like him.he prefer chics that put out often than a part time

Just text Happy New Year back. Don't play games.

Honestly, I don't think this guy is worth it. I think if a guy showed up to our first date with a huge visible hickey from another girl it would be over right then and there. It doesn't sound like he's all that interested in you either. Just not worth the aggravation. You know how this is going to end. Badly.

I know exactly where you're coming from and have the same problems with guys. I'd reply Happy New Year, and that's it, you don't want to seem cold- but not eager. If he wants to reply.. he will. if not whatever- take him out of the priority spot.
